Aug 04, 2026The 9th EPES Asia Power & Energy Storage Exhibition concluded successfully at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou from July 16 to 18. Centered on the theme Smart Energy, Powering the Future, the exhibition gathered enterprises across the whole industrial chain of power grids, energy storage and power automation. It focused on cutting-edge sectors including new power systems, digital distribution networks and energy storage monitoring, making it a highly influential professional energy event in South China.

We comprehensively showcased our independently developed technological achievements and engaged in in-depth exchanges with industry experts, power grid institutions and system integrators.

At the exhibition, Hemei Electronics presented a complete system of sensing hardware suitable for all scenarios of intelligent power grid operation and maintenance, covering three core sectors: energy harvesting, current acquisition and traveling wave fault monitoring.
1.Split-Core Energy Harvesting CT & CT Energy Harvesting Power Supply
Our split-core energy harvesting CT enables live-line installation without power cut-off, allowing rapid deployment without cable disconnection. Featuring low-loss high-permeability magnetic cores for stable energy extraction, it is matched with an integrated voltage-stabilized energy storage power supply equipped with multiple protection functions including open-circuit prevention, overvoltage and overcurrent protection.
It addresses the challenge of continuous power supply for monitoring terminals in cable trenches, ring main units and branch boxes. Widely applied in existing power grid renovation and on-line monitoring of energy storage cabinets, it greatly reduces construction and operation & maintenance costs.
2.Broadband / High-Frequency Current Sensors & Integrated Current-Voltage Sensors
Capable of power frequency metering and high-frequency harmonic acquisition, these sensors feature wide measurement bandwidth, excellent linearity and strong anti-electromagnetic interference performance to capture current signals accurately.
The integrated design combines current and voltage acquisition units to simplify equipment wiring, ideal for digital energy meters, power quality monitoring and state sensing of energy storage systems.

We also exhibited traveling wave fault indicator housing modules, high-speed sampling miniature traveling wave current sensors and non-contact traveling wave current measurement sensors. These products precisely capture transient traveling wave fault signals on power lines to quickly locate short-circuit and earth fault points.
The traveling wave fault indicator housing module integrates protection, solar energy harvesting and energy harvesting CT into one unit for overhead outdoor lines, delivering underlying sensing support for rapid fault judgment and self-healing control of distribution networks.
During the three-day exhibition, the Hemei team delivered professional technical briefings and provided customized product selection solutions targeting industry concerns such as outdoor waterproof performance, high & low temperature stability and energy storage measurement requirements.
Hemei Electronics has built a complete closed-loop system of underlying sensing hardware, ranging from front-end passive energy harvesting and high-precision electric quantity collection to line traveling wave fault diagnosis, supplying one-stop sensing solutions for digital distribution networks and new energy storage projects.
This exhibition served as a comprehensive showcase of Hemei Electronics for the South China power and energy storage market.
